October 2021

Electrodrive commits to donate new patient mover for simulation training

Electrodrive has committed to donating a new GZ30 battery-powered patient mover to Holmesglen Institute, to assist nursing students with simulation training on how to move hospital beds safely.

Holmesglen Institute are a leading tertiary provider recognised for innovation in education and training, applied research, creativity and entrepreneurship. They have eight facilities located across Melbourne and Victoria.

The institute have created replicas of 8-bed wards to mirror hospital environments to offer true-to-life learning scenarios for their nursing students.

With the addition of a new GZ30 patient mover, Holmesglen will be able to implement simulation training on the Electrodrive range of patient movers, so trainees can put real knowledge and skills into practice with physical hands-on activities.
