The Gzunda GZ30 powered bed mover is designed and made in Australia, specifically for moving patients safely. It is simple to use and is powerful enough for a person to move hospital beds or stretchers weighing up to 500 kg, single-handedly. Whether you’re moving patients between wards or to-and-from the operating theatre, The GZ30 patient mover keeps staff safe from muscle and back strains.

Compatible with most standard beds

Compatible with most standard beds, the GZ30 fits neatly under your bed, requiring only 90mm of clearance. Its compact design enables easy manoeuvrability through tight corridors and in-and-out of lifts.

Ergonomically designed hospital bed mover

The Australian-made GZ30 is ergonomically designed with easy-to-use controls, including key start, twist-grip variable speed control, horn, and emergency stop button.

As with all Electrodrive products, the GZ30 comes with a comprehensive 12-month warranty, including parts and labour. The Gzunda’s compact design, effortless manoeuvrability and detachability allows for safe and efficient management of a fleet of beds or trolleys within a healthcare environment.

Proudly designed and manufactured in Australia.

Why buy an Electrodrive GZ30 Bed Mover?

Australia-made-and-owned with at least 75% Australian materials. Made right here in Victoria, Australia under ISO9001:2015 quality and testing standards—essential for the Social Procurement Framework initiatives set by the Australian Government.

Sensitive-and-safe manoeuvrability is given to the operator by a new 180 degree light-steering handle. Operators must use two hands to drive the unit properly which makes the unit safer to control in confined areas or tight spaces, as they always have two points of contact on the bed mover. This is very different to imported bed movers which can overlook important ergonomic and environmental factors. Super-slim and compact, easy to store, and ideal for moving beds in confined spaces.

Opportunity charging is now possible with the lithium battery 100Ah / 24V and special SmartCharger. This reduces the charging time and makes it easier to use multiple times a day and between day/night shifts. The battery life has also extended beyond the normal 8 hour usage and customers will be happy to notice improved overall battery life.

Visual control panel using a membrane sticker with push-button controls to reduce the need for additional training or re-training for users. This also overcomes language barriers as the buttons use symbols rather than words, making it very easy to train operators over time.

Removed ingress areas to stop liquid and germs from falling into gaps in the machine. This provides additional protection against germ transfer.

Standalone bed mover has a powerful "dead-man brake" that will safely stop 500kg on a 6 degree ramp going at full speed (4.1 km per hour) downhill. It takes roughly 1.5 to 2 seconds to come to a dead stop, so it won't cause discomfort to patients or operators.

Smooth-and-assisted driving is done by our special Electrodrive controller-programming. This eliminates jerky or sudden movements in the machine, and is something unique to Electrodrive bed movers. We pre-program every controller, and hand test the units before they leave our factory under ISO9001:2015 requirements.

Accessories available such as oxygen bottle carriers mounted to the side panel, and special barrel keys for separate departments using the same bed movers (this helps prevent other departments from using them).
