Terms and conditions of use for Electrodrive and Liftmaster equipment

The Operation Manual (that is attached to the unit at the point of sale and available on the website) lists the load rating and incline for which the equipment is designed to be used. Excessive loads and slopes above the published safe working load and incline may damage the unit and will void the warranty.

It is a Condition of Use not to misuse or damage the unit, including but not limited to the following types of misuse:

  • Overloading the unit either during towing or lifting.

  • Shunting loads at speeds in excess of 4.0 kph.

  • Driving on slopes with a steeper gradient than 1:12.

  • Failure to charge the batteries adequately (including allowing the batteries to run flat).

  • Using Emergency-stop as an ON/OFF button.

  • Using the emergency back-off system to change direction regularly.

  • Exposure to rain or excessive moisture.

  • Exposed to a corrosive environment.

  • Driving off road (eg. pot holes, gravel, etc).

  • Carrying people or other foreign objects.

  • AS 2700: Colour standards for general purposes.

In the event that a Preventative Maintenance Plan is associated with the serialised unit, then the Terms and Conditions apply and failure to observe these may void the service warranty.
